We're still talking about the COVID-19 public health emergency. However, this time, instead of hypothetical situations, we're discussing laws that are being passed, tickets handed out, and fines levied. Our focus is mainly on our home province of Alberta and amendments to its Public Health Act that allow government ministers to unilaterally create new laws.
