Kevin opens with his impressions of the Justice Centre's George Jonas Freedom Award dinner in Calgary on Aug 11, and then John gives his views on the same event, from a different angle, as host and someone who attended all three award dinners this year, in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. Then we have a discussion of some of the main points made in Brian Peckford's keynote address at that dinner, which dovetails into a talk about the status of his court case against the travel bans. And all this, of course, leads to our final topic, the issue of digital IDs.
